Noam Chomsky : Political Views and Teachings

Image
University of Pennsylvania graduate Noam Chomsky remains a prolific linguist, writer, and analyst amongst American academic circles, if not throughout the world. His contributions to the sciences, both cognitive and political, have birthed a renaissance of discourse on the nature of communication, imperialism, and political economy. Chomsky attributed the ad-vent of his radicalism to the Vietnam war, where in 1975, he stated that, “efforts will be de-voted to obscuring the history of the war and the domestic resistance to it.” Let’s take a closer look at the man who reshaped and invigorated public discussion on the modern-day American empire:  https://www.allriot.com/noam-chomsky-infographic/

Chomsky, professor Emeritus at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) is a varied blend of cognitive scientist, radical anarchist, brilliant mathematician and political analyst. His career has spanned over half a century, 40 honorary degrees and several critical junc-tures of American history. Throughout his tireless work, he has fought to expose the rela-tionship between ideology and power via mainstream media, criticise the actions of admin-istrations addicted to war, expose the atrocities of neoliberalism and free trade, and help torestore balance to the extremes of global political economy.
